In 2022 H.A. Dorsten partnered as a subcontractor and metal building contractor to perform the design-build delivery of Unverferth Manufacturing’s Delphos, Ohio, Huffy Building Renovation and Addition. H.A. Dorsten was trusted with the design and construction of the building shell and room build-out, including all concrete foundations and floor slabs, the Chief pre-engineered metal building addition, masonry restroom with mezzanine, crane beams, floor drains, and loading dock construction. Unique challenges were the multitude of bracketed crane systems in the building and complicated roof-to-wall conditions with internal drainage. The finished product is a high-performance industrial manufacturing assembly and load-out facility.
