H.A. Dorsten bid on and was awarded the contract to provide general contracting services to construct a new 3,846 square-foot addition and 4,900 square feet of renovations for the Village of Minster Police Department in Minster, Ohio. Construction consisted of selective demolition, concrete, masonry, steel, framing, wood trusses, and metal fabrications. Roofing features PVC membrane systems, standing seam metal, gutters, and downspouts, with insulation using thermal, spray foam, and rigid board materials. Interior and exterior installations cover doors, windows, glazing, hardware, wall panels, ceilings, flooring, athletic flooring, wall coverings, painting, and protective finishes. Additional features include signage, cubicle curtains, lockers, flagpoles, toilet accessories, window shades, casework, and countertops. Key systems implemented are plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, electrical, communications, and security systems. Site enhancements include earthwork, asphalt/concrete paving, landscaping, and storm/sanitary utilities.
