H.A. Dorsten has received the Community and Business Pride Award from the Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber of Commerce for the year 2019. Since 1952, we have strived to not only build the visions of our customers, but to also build up the communities in which we serve.
Our office has been located in Minster, Ohio since 1968. For this open house ceremony, we turned an old duplex residence into the “white house” located at 146 North Main Street. We have been blessed to remain busy ever since that open house. Aside from a small rear addition, we haven’t done much to our white house. Why fix something great, right?
Eventually, we simply ran out of room.
An opportunity arose to purchase the residence to our north, and we began planning a much larger addition. What you see now took a while. We’ve remained blessed with work, and it wasn’t always easy to free up our crews to work on our office.
We are always looking for ways to grow, but some things haven’t changed since 1952. It is our goal here at H.A. Dorsten for our commitment to community to remain unequaled. We strive to be the best at what we do, not for us, but for those we serve.
We are happy with the end result, and hope you are too.
Construction is only what we do, it’s not who we are. The outstanding people who choose to be a part of our H.A. Dorsten family make us who we are. Thank you to our H.A. Dorsten family for helping us make a difference in our communities.
Our strength comes from our community. We cannot thank our community for allowing us to be a part of something great. Thank you for coming along for the ride, sharing your stories with us, engaging with us, and for giving us a foundation in a solid community on which to build. We are so fortunate and blessed to have such a supportive community.

Body: It is with great pleasure that I, Robert Sprague, Ohio Treasurer, extend my congratulations to H.A. Dorsten in honor of receiving the Community and Business Pride Award from the Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber of Commerce.
In receiving this award, the Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber of Commerce honors and celebrates the improvements made by H.A. Dorsten. Its recent growth has made a significant and positive impact on the local community and has helped to make the Minster area a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.
Deep admiration and respect should be given to those organizations who demonstrate business success and a commitment to the community. Therefore, I comment H.A. Dorsten on its many contributions to the Minster area and the State of Ohio. I wish them many years of continued success.
